TGAMM Plushie FAQ + Updates

Preorders are closed, and production is underway on the plushies! Thank you guys so much for supporting this preorder campaign, spreading the word, and just showing excitement overall! I'm extremely blown away by the attention my preorders received, I was genuinely expecting to sell maybe 30 or 40 plushies total 🫢

With your help, we were able to unlock the first freebie, the acrylic Scratch and Molly charm! We didn't quite meet the 100 order mark for unlocking the second bonus item (the winner would've been the Enamel Scratch Pin), but I'll be sure to include extra surprise goodies regardless. :)

The plushies will be in production through September, the manu will ship them to me via sea, and I expect them to arrive at my doorstep by late October or early November. There will be a few leftover plushies, which I will be listing in my shop, along with the leftover charms, mid-November! Here's the handy-dandy production timeline:

UPDATE: There was a slight delay with the manufacturer; the plushies will likely be on my doorstep sometime around mid-November. I will ship them right away, and expected shipping times are about 1 week for US orders, and 1–4 weeks for most international orders. Keep in mind this is around the holiday season, and shipping companies may be delayed. Thanks for your patience.

The timeline is an estimate, I don't have access to exact information but I'll do my best to keep everyone posted.

Plush FAQ

Have my preorders shipped yet?/Where is my tracking information?

All preorders have shipped! Everyone should have received an email with tracking information. If yours is missing, check your order status through Etsy. They should also list your tracking information. If you still can't find it, please contact me! I'll send you your tracking info and help you sort things out.

When will my plushies arrive?/Help! its been so long and my plushies aren't here yet!

USPS is facing delays due to increased holiday shipping and inclement weather. Please be patient and check your package status through your tracking number. If you think your package may be missing or held up at your post office please contact your post office directly! The shipment of your order is out of my hands once it is with the post office (or UPS if its a large order). I have access to the same information as you.

If it has been missing for longer than 1 week (USA) or 3 weeks (International) and you've checked with your post office and your household/neighbors please contact me to get a refund. I cannot guarantee replacements at this time.

Will you be making a Human Molly/Ghost Libby/Andrea/etc. plushie?

Thanks for your interest, but right now I'm not planning any other TGAMM plushies. I can't say I'll never make these, but if I do it'll be a long wait. I encourage you to try your hand at making your own or reach out to custom plush makers and commission some! Please support official merch and other fan-merch creators too 🙏

Are they machine washable?

They are surface-wash only! I wouldn't recommend washing them in a machine, both because of the fragile edges on Molly's jacket and because most plush stuffing tends to bunch and become uneven when soaked through.

For washing, I would recommend carefully wiping down with a damp white washcloth and warm water; using disinfectant spray; and/or carefully spot cleaning with a gentle fabric cleaner. You should always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area of a plush before using to make sure it doesn't bleach or cause the color to run (I recommend testing on the underside of the arm and avoiding embroidered areas).

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship internationally through the USPS.

Are they safe for little kids?

Both plushies are officially certified safe for ages 0+! They have been tested via a CPSC-Accepted Laboratory. However, please be aware the plushies are intended as fan merch for collection or display. They could be damaged with heavy play (they are still perfectly huggable/snuggle-able, though!).

What's your return and replacement policy?

If your items are lost or damaged in the mail I can offer a refund (or replacement if I have leftover stock). All items are shipped through the USPS with tracking numbers. If your item is listed as delivered but you can't find it, I recommend waiting 72 hours to see if it turns up, and checking with neighbors and other members of your household. Sometimes USPS lists things as delivered but they don't arrive for a few days.

I do not accept exchanges.

How can I contact you about my order?

Please contact me directly through Etsy, with the account/information that you used to place your order. If you checked out as a guest and can't contact me through Etsy, I'll need your email and order number to verify your information. In that case, you can email or DM me.

If I buy a plushie after preorders end, will I still get the bonus freebie item?

Nope, sorry! The freebies only come with preorders (which are now closed). You can buy leftovers and/or seconds directly through my shop.

Help! I need to cancel my order/change my address/etc!

No worries! Just contact me through Etsy before your order ships.

If your order has already shipped I can't do anything about it unfortunately. If it is returned to me I'll send it back out.

Will the plushies ever restock?

I'll stock the leftover plushies from preorders in my shop in mid-November. After those sell out, if there's enough interest, I'll reorder them. They'll take at least 70 days to restock. Please let me know if you're interested in a restock, I won't know otherwise! I will probably share an interest form at some point closer to that time. Don't be afraid to @ me on socials or through etsy to let me know you're interested! :)

Why do the plushies cost so much?

Plushies are expensive to manufacture, and most plushies you purchase at the store are bought literally thousands or hundreds of thousands at a time. The more you manufacture at once, the cheaper bulk materials become! A small batch of, say, 100 plushies, is very very expensive. Add on the cost of packing and shipping materials, safety testing, sample costs, etc. and the prices skyrocket. My prices don't even reflect the hours I've spent on design and production, or the hours I will spend on packing and shipping and trips to the post office. I've made them literally as cheap as I can. The prices are in the same range as other fan merch plushies. I'm not Walmart. Thanks for understanding!
